HOW EUROLANG Optimizer WORKS

PHASE 1: PRE-TRANSLATION

The document to be translated is transferred to the EUROLANG Optimizer server. You define a document-specific filter to target Optimizer 's search in the memories. The comparison of the document with the memories generates a translation folder containing:

• the source document,
• all the sentences and terms you will need during the interactive translation phase.

Your folder is transferred to the translator's workstation for finalization.

PHASE 2: INTERACTIVE TRANSLATION

The pre-translated document is automatically opened in your word processor, and the original document formatting is retained.

Optimizer 's translation proposals have color-coding identifying:

• perfect match sentences,
• fuzzy match sentences,
• known technical terms.

You are free to:

• insert,
• modify,
• or ignore the proposals.

The local document-specific memory records your translation and the terms you create as you work, ready for insertion when they are repeated.

PHASE 3: UPDATING THE MEMORIES

When you have finished your translation, you send the folder back to the server to enhance the memories. Your newly translated sentences and terms are stored ready to be used again for future translations.
